CUSTOM DOG WASH

Some projects are about square footage. This one was about something more.

These homeowners are part of a dog rescue program, opening their homes to abandoned dogs and providing a safe place for them to rehabilitate. The room off their garage was being used for that purpose — but it wasn’t working. Limited space, no proper washing area, and nowhere to keep crates out of the way made an already demanding effort even harder.

CK Builders came in and redesigned the space from the ground up. A partial wall was removed to open the layout, and the plumbing was relocated and expanded, with a dedicated dog-washing station and connections for two stackable washer/dryer units to handle the constant laundry that comes with rescue work. We partnered with MJ Design Custom Cabinets to build custom cabinetry with integrated crate storage beneath the workstations, keeping the room organized and functional no matter how many dogs are in the rotation.

New flooring, fresh paint, and finished trim brought it all together, and a purpose-built space that works as hard as the people using it.
